Once in Third Grade, students are eligible to begin learning an instrument. Mrs. Theresa Wire provides instrumental music lessons each week on Tuesdays, with students rotating out of class so that they rarely miss the same material each quarter.
Students who take Instrumental Music practice that have been taking lessons for two quarters are eligible to join the school band. The Band plays in our Winter and Spring Music Performances and meets after school for extra practices on Tuesday afternoons. Students who take private lessons are also welcome to join the CLS Band. |
