Carroll Lutheran School will hold their 10th Annual Kid's Consignment Sale on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Carroll County Ag Center in Westminster. We sell kid's clothing, baby equipment, toys, games, books, maternity clothes, sporting equipment, and so much more! The sale will run from 7 am until 12 pm with a 1/2 price sale from 3-5 pm. Due to overwhelming demand we are no longer accepting consignors! Download and print a Consignment Flyer... Consignor TermsAny member of the public may consign at our sale; you need not attend CLS to consign. It's easy: We do the advertising and bring the crowds and you drop off your stuff to sell. Items are sold on a 60/40 basis: The consigner receives 60% and CLS receives 40% You may choose to pickup unsold items or donate them for our 1/2 price sale (CLS receives 100% of the sale price). Drop off of items is done on Friday, February 10th from 10am until 6 pm. Pick-up of unsold items is on Saturday, February 11th from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Any items not picked up by 3:30 pm will automatically become part of the 1/2 price sale. Tagging
We provide two different colored tags depending on if you would like to donate certain unsold items at the end of the regular sale:
You will need to request the correct number of tags in the color you need in order to tag your merchandise. Consignor Packet Pickup
Pickup consignor packets (contract, instructions, & tags) from Carroll Lutheran School (how to find us...). We will have a labeled bin in the vestibule or just outside the front door with your packets. Consigners can pick them up between 8:00pm-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Note: Our dismissal time is from 3:00-3:20, avoid the time between 2:45 pm and 3:20 pm daily. Thank you for participating in our sale! Help Promote This Event!To ensure that we sell all of the merchandise you bring to us, please help promote this event by listing it in your church bulletins, on community calendars, at your local doctor's/dentists and 7-11s, etc. We will be sending out promotional "Come Shop!" emails that you may forward easily to your friends. You may also print and post our flyers anywhere you wish to get the word out or send to friends. Remember: The more people that come, the more stuff that sells! VolunteerWe need help from setup on Thursday through breakdown on Saturday evening. Anyone who helps for a 4-hour shift can come shop EARLY on Friday night! Roughly the times we need help are 6:30-8:00 PM on Thursday, Feb. 10 (setup), 11:30 AM to 8 PM on Friday, Feb. 11 (receiving and sorting goods, setup, cashiers) and 6:30 AM to 6 PM on Sat., Feb. 12 (sales, sorting, cashiers, cleanup). All families are asked to sign up for at minimum of two 4-hour shifts, because we have over 200 shifts to fill. Extended families and friends are invited to help as well--neighbors and consignors are OK too! Anyone who works a 4-hour or longer shift has the opportunity to shop on Friday evening before the sale opens.
