CLS holds several annual fundraisers each year in support of school projects, tuition assistance, and general operating funds. Fundraisers are sponsored by the Family Partnership Program or Board of Trustees and we are blessed to have the support of families and the larger community in making them sucessful each year. Our annual fundraisers include the Fall Golf Tournament, late Winter Consignment Sale, and Spring Basket Bingo. Your contribution, whether of time, goods or attendance, is greatly appreciated! Annual Golf TournamentThe Annual Golf Outing will be held at Qual Valley Golf Club in Littlestown, PA. The popular tournament features an afternoon of fellowship and golf with friends, followed by a delicious dinner at the club. Sponsorships are available at various levels, from $100 to $1000, and are acknowledged in the Program. Download Golfer Registration/Sponsorship Form... Contact Amy Hackett at 410-848-1050 with any questions. Annual Consignment SaleThe Family Partnership Program sponsors the Annual Consignment Sale in February of each year. We sell kid's clothing, baby equipment, toys, games, books, maternity clothes, sporting equipment, and so much more! Items are consigned by our families and the general public and sold at a 60/40 split during regular sale hours; consignors may choose to donate unsold items for our 1/2 off sale. Regular sale hours are from 7 am until 12 pm, with a 1/2 price sale from 3-5 pm. The entire school and community members pitch in to help with setup/ take down, inventory, and sale day. Specialty Bag & Longaberger Basket BingoThe Family Partnership Program sponsors Bingo in Spring of each year. Generously filled Longaberger Baskets and Thirty-One bags are donated as prizes for an afternoon of Bingo that also features a Home Business Fair, raffles, food and door prizes galore. Donations of most any type or whole baskets of goodies are needed/welcome, as well as business owners looking to reach new clients/customers and people to come play! The public is welcome and encouraged to come play to win. Scholastic Book FairThe week-long Scholastic Book Fair, sponsored by the Family Partnership Program, is held each March in the school gymnasium and culminates in a themed Family Fun Night. Students and teachers make lists of books and items they are interested in; families may purchase items for their children or choose to purchase from the teacher's wish lists for classroom use. We encourage you to attend the Fair and Family Fun Night and to invite new or prospective families to attend. Helpers are always needed during this event to manage the store and run activities during Family Fun Night. Yard SaleThe Board of Trustees also sponsors an annual Indoor Yard Sale & Plant Sale in April in our school gymnasium. Anyone and everyone is welcome to purchase a space in the sale and sell their stuff; the Board tables are always full of items donated by our supportive churches and friends, and the teachers book corner is crammed with donated books. Donations of all kinds are accepted, especially good-quality books, as this event draws near. Help with setup and take down is always appreciated. CLS also sponsors a series of ongoing fundraisers that anyone may easily take part in, such as Restaurant nights, BoxTop collections, and grocery fundraisers. |
